Chronic Pain Management

Research shows single treatment modalities are usually ineffective in helping the chronic pain sufferer. Our program is a combination non-narcotic approach and is delivered in four phases:

Phase1- Weeks 1- 2: Pain Cycle and Insomnia Breakage

Using pain control modalities such as Acupuncture, Laser, Ultrasound, Infrared sauna for pain control and detoxification as well as CES device for regulating sleep.

Phase 2- Weeks 3- 5: Inflammation Reduction and Pain Trigger Elimination

Naturopathic intervention will be added to modalities in this stage as well as education on a proper anti-inflammatory diet to eliminate pain triggers. Joint mobilization, soft tissue treatments and exercise will also be added in this phase.

Phase 3- Week 6- 8: Maintenance and Promoting Wellness

Passive components of treatment are gradually reduced as active participation of patient is encouraged. Specific and general exercises along with aerobic conditioning are of emphasis in this phase. Education on how to prevent future flare ups and proper pain management techniques is added.

Phase 4- Week 9-12, Healthy lifestyle

Participating in group exercise programs, three sessions per week, followed by a self-directed exercise program
