We offer a wide range of group exercise programs that are tailored to your needs by our highly trained and experienced team of Physiotherapists and Kinesiologists, and all conducted in our bright, beautiful and fully equipped exercise studio.
OSTEODYNAMICS
OsteoDynamics program includes group exercise and educational sessions for
Arthritis and Osteoporosis as well as Fall Prevention. OsteoDynamics classes are conducted twice per week for six weeks. In addition to exercise sessions, education on pain management, diet and nutrition, home program, home safety, proper footwear and other relevant topics are provided.
The focus of this program is to improve our patients’ flexibility, strength, endurance, posture, balance and coordination, as well as to educate them on proper body mechanics to prevent injuries and fractures.
Small Group Exercise Classes for the Entire Family
- Fit over 50- A six-week program conducted twice weekly with a focus on strengthening exercises for upper and lower extremities as well as core stabilization, balance and coordination. This program is designed for our more active and independent elderly patients.
- CHRONIC PAIN and FIBROMYALGIA- A six week program conducted twice weekly with a focus on aerobic exercises, general conditioning, core stabilization and postural exercises. Comprehensive pain management education developed based on CBT concepts is an integral part of this evidence-based program. Patients are assisted to access community resources available to them for a better understanding and management of the condition. The focus of this program is to improve overall functional abilities of patients and divert their focus on pain.
- BACK CARE A six week program conducted weekly with a focus on core stabilization and functional dynamic properioceptive. This program is suitable for patients with mild to moderate mechanical lower back pain, pre & Post natal population, and/or patients who have completed a course of physiotherapy and would require a maintenance program.
